You read right! Mattel has gone ahead and released a first look of The Hunger Games‘ Katniss Everdeen Barbie doll.
They’ve chosen to have her outfitted in what she wore in the Games, complete with bow and arrow, her hair in a braid and a small mockingjay pin.
The designers took a look at the actual costume Jennifer Lawrence wore in the movie and crafted the clothes from what they observed.
“Hopefully Hunger Games fans can appreciate the attention to detail,” says the doll’s designer, Bill Greening.
Oh yes, the clothing is astonishingly similar but Barbie doesn’t look anything like Jennifer Lawrence. What say you, fans? Do you like the Barbie version of Katniss?
